Peer Reviewing
I have been a journal reviewer since 1998 and over the years worked on more than 100 papers, some of them through several rounds of the review process. Since 2004 I have been a member of the editorial board for Food Quality and Preference, and this is the journal I review most for. However, I review for a broad range of journals in several disciplines, and find that this is one component of keeping abreast with what’s happening in the literature. For this reason I also review conference proceedings in the marketing discipline. I have summarised my reviewing activity below.
- Association for Consumer Research (ACR); yearly conference
- Agribusiness
- American Journal of Enology and Viticulture
- Analytica Chimica Acta
- Australian and New Zealand Marketing Academy (ANZMAC); yearly conferences
- Appetite
- British Food Journal
- Ecological Economics
- European Journal of Marketing
- European Marketing Academy (EMAC); yearly conferences
- Food Australia
- Food Quality and Preference
- International Journal of Food Science & Technology
- Journal of Applied and Social Psychology
- Journal of Service Research
- Journal of Business Research
- Journal of the Science of Food and Agriculture
- Obesity Research
- University of Auckland Business Review
